"Century-Old Medical Facility Refitted for Nonprofit Serving Autism Community"

We at eos are grateful to be apart of the team behind the works to adapt a historic 1924 medical facility building in Homestead into a home for an important nonprofit - bringing a unique opportunity to an underutilized site and deserving community. This project was recently recognized by CoStar, referencing our successful team and solid understanding of the needs for this site.

"Along with considering the ground level realities of code and occupancy compliances, the medical and mental health components had to be addressed when space planning and mapping the movement within the property," the nomination states. "The limitations of an aging layout meant rethinking the volumes top to bottom to meet all of these needs while making the build both cost-effective and forward-thinking."

Special shoutout to our wonderful teammate Katie, who leads this project architecturally ensuring a smooth and successful process from start to finish. Keep up the good work Katie!!
